The Magic Machine. Well Tefal call it 'Fresh Express' but I think Magic Machine is a more accurate descriptor. Quickest way to five-a-day ever (usually a fait accompli by lunch if not before). And who knew raw courgettes were so insanely tasty? The review bit: Happily grates and slices and shreds everything I've introduced it to. Fingers don't fit down the tube, I tried. It's speedy too which is grate (ha ha) if you've just got home and are ravenous. Looks smart on the worktop and only hogs about as much space as a kettle. Really easy to clean - hey would I be in love with it if it wasn't? A quick tip though: put a sieve in your washing up bowl and drop the tube and grater in the sieve. This catches the bits so they don't go down the drain. Feed the bits to the rabbit or any other wee beastie that wants them.
